DLSU Institute of Governance organizes Knowledge Forum on the Mental Health Law

Last 5 February 2020, the DLSU Institute of Governance conducted a knowledge dialogue on the Mental Health Law. The forum served as platform for stakeholders in local government units, national government agencies, universities, and civil society organizations to discuss the implications of the of the Mental Health Law. The activity was conducted in relation to the Institute’s initiative on developing capacity building programs for local government units and mainstream mental health issues as a public health policy area. Over ninety (90) representatives of LGUs in the National Capital Region, civil society organizations, and higher education institutions participated in the knowledge activity. The activity featured presentations from the following resource persons: Dr. June Pagaduan-Lopez, Dr. Noel Reyes of the Department of Health, Dr. Violeta Bautista of University of the Philippines Diliman PsychServe, and Dr. Anselmo Tongco of the University of the Philippines Philippine General Hospital.
