Central Philippine University Hosts Knowledge Workshop

Over 25 local civil society organizations (CSOs) from Iloilo City were invited to attend a Knowledge Workshop to discuss how universities can provide resources to the community. The Center for Local Governance and Indigenous Peoples Studies (CLGIPS) from Central Philippine University (CPU) hosted the workshop. In addition to CSOs, the event was attended by university faculty and local government. CSO participants expressed how it is important to not only be able to access local government data but also present the information in a manner that is more easily understood.
