DLSU-JRIG partners with Dutch Embassy for the Bangsamoro Region

The DLSU Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance (DLSU-JRIG) and the Emabassy of the Netherlands in the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the conduct of a capacity building program in support of the development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) last 28 March 2019 in at the Dutch Embassy in Makati City. The program, which ran from April to May 2019, involved the implementation of training sessions for future middle-level officials of the BARMM on policy making, policy analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. Experts from the DLSU-JRIG and the Hague Academy collaborated in the delivery of the sessions. The DLSU-JRIG views this initiative as an important step in building governance instituions that will support effective public service delivery in the BARMM. Moreover, the Institute has previously worked with the Dutch Embassy on various efforts on civil society, human rights, and good governance.
