The DLSU Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance (DLSU-JRIG), the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation (JMRF), and the Galing Pook Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the Gawad Jesse M. Robredo last 8 June 2019 at the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines in Quezon City. The Gawad Jesse M. Robredo seeks to honor Philippine local chief executives who have exemplified integrity, competence, and empathy in local governance. The winners of the award will be recognized in December 2019. For the DLSU-JRIG, the partnership serves as an opportunity to be engaged in knowledge development and promotion of innovative practices in leadership and governance. Dr. Ador Torneo, Director of the DLSU-JRIG, Ms. Trisha Robredo, Executive Director of the JMRF, and Dr. Eddie Dorotan, Executive Director of Galing Pook led the ceremonial MoA signing.
