DLSU Institute of Governance hosts knowledge forum on community drug rehabilitation and governance

Through the support of SEAOIL Foundation in partnership with the Embassy of the Czech Republic, the DLSU Institute of Governance conducted a Knowledge forum of Community-based Drug Rehab last 4 October 2019 at De La Salle University. The event sought to improve awareness and knowledge of LGUs and CSOs on best practices and existing models of community-based drug rehabilitation. Resource persons who spoke in knowledge forum include: Barbara Janikova and Helena Fialova of the National Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Addiction, Department of Adictology, First Medical Faculty and General Hospital in Prague; Dr. Regina Hechanova of USAID RenewHealth, and Atty. Bok Labastilla, of the Caloocan City Anti-Drug Abuse Council. Over eighty (80) participants representing local government units, civil society organizations, and academic institutions participated in the event.
